The video of the murderer Jesse Shane Kempson dragging the suitcase containing the body of his new girlfriend Grace Millane into the elevator was published by The Sun on December 23. In the video published by The Sun, Kempson, a New Zealander, was seen using a luggage trolley to carry two suitcases into the elevator at the CityLife Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand, to his room. He then returned with one of the two suitcases containing the naked body of Ms. Millane, a British woman.
The killer loaded the suitcase containing Millane’s body into a rental car and drove it to the outskirts of the city to bury it in the woods.

CCTV also captured Kempson taking his new Tinder girlfriend, Millane, back to his hotel room after a night out on the town, as well as buying a suitcase and a shovel.
Millane’s parents wiped away tears as the video was played at the murder trial.


Kempson took Millane back to the hotel on the evening of December 1, 2018.
Before strangling Millane to death, Kempson also sexually assaulted two other women. One of the two victims was a 21-year-old British tourist. He dated her on the Tinder app before taking her to his apartment and raping her. The second victim, also British, refused to have sex with Kempson but was raped by him while lying in bed.
In December 2018, Kempson was convicted of murder in the Millane case. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the first 17 years, plus an additional 11 years in prison for another case.

Millane went missing on 1 December 2018, on her 22nd birthday in Auckland. She went abroad and planned to stay for a whole year but was unexpectedly murdered in New Zealand. Millane was last seen entering a hotel with Kempson that evening.
On 9 December 2018, the unfortunate girl’s body was found in a wooded area, about 30 meters from the roadside in the Waitakere Mountains, near Auckland.
