The little boy invited 32 friends to his birthday party at a pizzeria, but no one showed up
Teddy is a 6-year-old boy living in Arizona, United States. To celebrate his last birthday, he decided to throw a party at a pizzeria, handing out candy and soda—all very ordinary, except for one unexpected occurrence: absolutely no one came.
Another fact increased the boy’s disappointment: as you can see in the photo, other children were celebrating birthdays in the same place, surrounded by many little friends.
Everything was recorded and shared on social media, quickly going viral. People shared the post and commented with messages of support for little Teddy. The situation was quite strange and saddening for the boy, but many people showed solidarity, and the case turned around.
Teddy’s mother said in an interview with the ABC15 internet portal that she was disappointed and would not throw parties for the boy for a few years, however, the turn of events changed her mind and another party is already being arranged.
According to the boy’s mother, everything was planned well in advance, including so that his father, who is from another city, could attend the event.
After the story became famous on Facebook and other websites, Teddy began receiving displays of affection and support from many people. He received gifts and congratulations, including free tickets to watch local soccer and basketball games. Teddy also received official jerseys from the sports teams.
The boy ended up spending one of the happiest weeks of his life, watching the local Phoenix Suns play the Los Angeles Lakers and having the opportunity to see LeBron James play live.
